Do you want to help reduce crime rates and recidivism in your community?

You can help returning citizens overcome barriers, begin a new path toward success, and become successful, productive community members! Join us for a free lunch and learn event at Locus Benedictus in Greenwood, MS on July 29, 2023, from 11-1:30.

Our Mission is to raise awareness and increase support for people getting out (and staying out) of prison. On July 29, you will learn about the challenges faced by those reentering society, hear personal testimonies from people with lived experience in the criminal justice system, meet current MARC volunteers, and learn how you can help citizens successfully return to their communities and families.

Volunteers from the Jackson area have been working with men and women in local prisons to discover resources, be encouraged to start anew, and make a plan for life after they are released. We have had great success with people turning their lives around and moving forward in a positive and productive way. We are seeking local residents to continue this great work and help make a positive impact in your community. Whether you’re interested in becoming a class facilitator, a community advocate, a researcher, or a mentor, there is a role for you to contribute your unique skills and passion.

Sign up today and join us in building a brighter future for those affected by the criminal justice system in Greenwood, MS. We won't keep you long and lunch is on us! Questions? Contact dorothy@marcreentry.org
